i got them too, i just deleted the whole comment, its very irritating, especially if you are not quick off the mark in removing them. i noticed the other day that all the latest blog entries were porn or similar spam with different headings, there must be a way of stopping this sort of thing.

Spam is a problem we´re trying to battle as good as we can. The spammers are trying to get on to your blogs sites with links, because your blogs sites are valued by search enginges. If the search engines finds that your sites are linking to a porn site, it will rank this porn site higher than others in the search queries.

We´ve continuously raised the economical effort of placing spam posts, and we are not done yet. The more human effort they have to make, the more unlikely spam will become.

We are working on a platform wide spam protection system at the moment and will introduce antoher feature that will also give more power to you what regards comments as well.

As of right now, we´ve prevented some serious automated spam attacks. Nevertheless, one comment or blog spam is one too many and we´re determined to make it even more uneconomical for them. Very sorry for the inconvience caused by these people.

Yes, me too, I have had dozens in the last couple of days. They all seem to come from the same ISP. Is it possible to have a system which blocks this particular ISP?

I have found that most of the porn links appear as trackbacks so I have tried temporarily disabling the trackback facility.
