Can anyone tell me how to insert photos along with the text of the blog? I want to insert photos in my blog but couldn't find any instruction and so I don't know how.

When in the 'Write' screen, either click 'Upload File' (to upload a file from your computer and put it in your blog) or 'Select files from your media' (to take a media file from your media and put it in your blog).

Both these button are to the top right of the text box.
