My subscribers are not being notified.
If I post immediately (i.e. without saving a draft first) then the notification system seems to work okay.
How do I get my subscribers to receive notifications when I finally publish a blog?

When editing the draft, please check on the right hand side that it is set to go public - it is set to save as draft again unless you change it.

That is what I did. While I was preparing the blog I was saving drafts and keeping them private. Then when I was ready to publish it I edited the time date stamp so it would show up in the recent posts column on the front page. I also changed the setting on the right hand side to public and then hit save.
I have used one of my other email addresses to notify myself just to check that the system worked and did not receive a notification.
As a test I made another blog and posted that immediately (i.e. without saving a draft), that time I did receive the notification okay and presumably my other subscribers did also.

Which browser and operating system do you use? Have you tried to replicate the probelm on a different computer or different browser? We're tried to replicate this problem but so far everything seems to be ok.

Internet explorer 7.
I guess if you cannot replicate it the only thing to do is for me to wait to see what happens next time I post.

Hi. I just created another blog to test this out. I subscribed myself using a work email address. I have found that if I post without saving a draft, or if I post a previously saved draft but edit the timestamp (accurately) then I get notification, otherwise email notifications do not work.

Ok, this has been reported to our techies, they'll get straight on it.
