Commenting as a visitor

When anybody, including me, wants to comment on my blog they have to enter their email address and name as if they were a visitor. Why is this? Its annoying some of my friends so much they dont post.

TEAM - I'll add to that ... it doesn't happen to me when I go on J.A.G.'s blog.

I believe there are a few different servers, so mibbe it's a problem between certain servers.

Oddly enough though despite the fact that i had to comment as a though i was a visitor (having to fill in the boxes with e-mail address & name etc) it doesn't look that way when you look at my comment!

I've tried pretty hard to reproduce this problem over the last few days, but I can't. What browser and operating system are you guys using? Have you tried it on another browser?

The problem is that when you go to your blog I am shown as loged out if I log in from your page i can post. maybe if you go to your page and log in it might cure it.
