How do you change your header picture?

Go into design page
3 - style
Click in box next to "Image"
Choose an image
Click "Apply Image"
But it doesn't work, either the old header image remains, or if I try a new design, I can't load any header image.
So I must be doing something wrong! So hope someone can answer my question!

OK, dumbass question, are you changing the image in the "general" section or the header section?

It's me who feels like the dumbass, LOL!
From the blogs page, I click on design then click the button "3 style" which brings up a page including the header pic bit.
BTW I am not a pro user, don't know if that makes a difference.

Are you sure that you are hitting 'Save' both on the header page, and then 'Save and Exit' at the bottom left?
Free users can upload headers too.

remember that the banner file size i max 500kb, thats what i just figured out i did wrong. otherwise i can't think of antything your doing wrong, when you press on the picture you want just click preview and then you should see it, w/o saving. of course save after you are done previewing.
also remember that on the color scale remove all numbers and press ok, then it should show a white box with an x.
but i think you got to big file size, i don't think you can do anything wrong besides that.
