Notifications of new posts, comments

There seems to be a problem with receiving email notifications of posts and comments to posts.
Any suggestions?

We are currently having problems with some mail providers who have decided to blacklist us as spam. This means that the notifications are either delayed by a few hours or not arriving at all. This problem is mainly with AOL and hotmail.
This is really frustrating for both you users and us here in the team - we're trying our best to resolve it. It might help if you AOL and hotmail users got in touch with them to let them know that we are not spammers.

So to let hotmail know you are 'safe' I go to options on my hotmail account and clicky okay as an email provider?

I have had the same problem for a few days and I tried changing the options in my hotmail, but it did not help.

We're also having some problems with hotmail, mostly just delays rather than failures though. The AOL situation has improved somewhat, but yahoo are still completely blocking us.
Apologies for this, we're really frustrated here in HQ too...

I don't have anything in my junk folder either, though, which is where such stuff normally ends up.

No, it's not that - all mail from this domain has already been marked as safe in my hotmail account.

I experienced problems yesterday, particularly when trying to get on to Usksider's blog - seems abit better today. Good luck
