Let's try again: trouble recovering password

I submitted the same question four days ago...and surprisingly, I've received no help at all !!!

Well, I'll try again:

I'm trying to help a friend, (username=Ofernan) member of this community. This is the situation:

He has been in the blog.com es community for two months without any problem.

But now, he is trying to sign in but the system informs that user and password do not match. He can't figure out why that happens but tries using the facility of asking for a new password... but he doesn't receive any e-mail with the new password... :-(

I've made some tests for him. I've tried signing-in with his user/password and receive the same message. I see that when you ask for a new password, you must provide an email adress recognized by the sistem (that seems, OK). I've also seen (testing with my own e-mail address) that the system associates the user with the e-mail address you provide (and I assume it does a test of match).

When I look at my friend's profile, I don't see any e-mail address (could this be the problem ? )

Well, now I can't figure out what is really happening ? Any clue ? Hoy to proceed ?

Thanks

probably he receives the email but doesnt read it - maybe its in his spam folder?

when you reproted this last time, i reacted and send him a mail with his password,

also the forums is not a good place for this - please contact the support via email
http://www.blog.co.uk/srv/company/company.php?p=contact or this form

Since it's a hotmail-adress the message could be blocked
due to the trouble we currently have with hotmail. Sorry.

CYzzie:

If you prefer I continue through the mechanism you indicate. I'll try to comment him your idea about spam.

If the trouble, as nittygritty suggests, is the hotmail address we could simply wait until you solve that, but I suppose is better sending the password by direct e-mail.

I'll communicate through the email link next news.

Thanks

Already solved.

It seems he had a trouble migrating its client e-mail application.

Thanks
