Groups and pro user accounts

Hi guys.

I've just created a new group (Stepping Stones) and wanted to change the design. However the design wizard says I can only access certain areas since I'm not a Pro user - I have been a Pro subscriber for a couple of years so am wondering whether this is a bug in the system, or are all users 'locked out' from parts of a group design?

HI Usky I asked this question yesterday and have had no reply -just had a disgusting link left on art group despite setting comments to be moderated and I cannot re-set to moderate. Hope you get an answer

We live in hope. :)

Yes, I asked this a while back. It's because the groups are still in their test or 'beta' stage. I was promised that by April we would be able to change the design of the groups - but it's into May now!

I recall seeing that Gil... but as you say, it was weeks ago and April is now long gone.

Same here:

Groups have only the standard free account design options.
We'll propably change that in the future but right now you
can't change the design too much.

I guess that'll change after launching the new design wizard.

Let's hope so...

it will, but still always: groups only have options that all free users have ... we'll increase that with the new design wizard a lot, but pros wont get any advantages on group blogs, you're always free to add the co-author button to a normal blog which makes it to something which is nearly a group blog.

Ok... Thanks cYzzie.

It would be a bit of a shame, though, if we can't jazz up the group blogs....

Absolutely.... but I guess we have to wait and see. :)
