Hibernating a blog

Meaning to take a blog out of "circulation" (if one can, in fact, circulate a blog), so that a user has, for a period of time, no blogs or, if that user is a pro user, the hibernated blog is not visible. Is this possible?

If a blog circulates
Does that mean it's a cog?

And if it's a cog
It may hibernate
Like a hedge....

It is indeed possible - in edit, you can unpublish it. It still exists, but no one see it.

* This could be completely incorrect.

If you go to 'Blog' and then 'Settings' then 'Publishing', you can uncheck the 'Include in public blog list'. This means that the blog will not appear on your profile page. However it is still accessible by typing the URL into the address bar.

You could also edit all your posts to be 'Draft', which means no-one will be able to see then, even if they know the URL.
