In the couple of years I've been using Blog.co.uk, I've not had one single instance of comment spam, but in the last couple of days I've had loads. It all appears to be coming from the same source and it's all on one post in particular ( http://upyourbum.blog.co.uk/2008/07/05/solve-your-tax-problems-with-custom-rece-4407513 ).

Perhaps you guys could work on putting together a 'Report Spam' or 'Block User' link in posted comments.

Anyway, I hope this doesn't become too big a problem and that we can all work together to nip it in the bud.

They all appear to be coming from people with an '@mail.ru' e-mail address, so perhaps you could just block people from posting with '@mail.ru' accounts...

PS2. To send url your site on an e-mail stop.web.spam@gmail.com is a unique way to avoid a spam from me. To write abuses to the various "stop spam" sites - it is useless.
PS3. Your addresses of an e-mail are not necessary to me, you can create an e-mail through free service and send me yours url through this e-mail
