Pageviews

This barely rates as a serious problem, but it is a bit weird.

A month ago I wrote a post (tagged Pageviews) celebrating my passing the 500,000 mark. I did point out that many of these pageviews were the result of Google and other bots.

I don't pay attention to the figure on a daily basis. But today I notice my cumulative Pageview figure has dropped below 500,000.

How did this happen? Have you been revising a whole lot of statistics?

That sounds like an odd little bug.

I'll try to reproduce it, but it doesn't sound very 'reproduceable'.
